Sketchit is a Pokémon Watcher who joined Ash and Misty when they
reached the Orange Islands, replacing Brock who spent the Orange series
with Prof. Ivy. A Pokémon Watcher is a person who studies the habits
of Pokémon. Tracy is also a great artist, and tends to sketch every
Pokémon he sees. His hero is Professor Oak, who he hoped to meet
by sticking with Ash and Misty. He owns three Pokémon, Venonat,
Marill and Scyther, the last one he rescued from the wild. Tracey takes
over Brock's role during the Orange Island Adventures as the oldest and
wisest of the group and since he's lived on the Orange Islands, he is also
Ash's tour guide! When he finally arrived with Ash to Pallet Town, he met
his hero Prof. Oak and decided to stay there and assist Oak in his lab.
He makes several more appearances in the series and the movies.
