Jessie
is teamed up with James, and is the more hotheaded of the two. She can
easily be recognized by her ridiculously long hair. She didn't have the
same luxurious lifestyle as James while she was growing up, in fact, her
family was dirt poor.Her mother joined Team Rocket in hopes of earning
a living for the family, but she disappeared during a mission. When she
was a young teen, Jessie trained to be a nurse, but flunked out of nursing
school. She then went on to Pokemon Tech, where she met her future partner
James, where they both flunked out and joined a Bike Gang. In their quest
to capture Pikachu, they often dress up in silly disguises and have outrageous
plots to kidnap Ash's Pikachu for their boss, Giovanni. Fortunately, their
plans always backfire, sending them "blasting off" back to square one.
Even so, she tends to be the more aggressive and brash than James, even
serving a short time as the Viridian Gym Leader.
She and James may be more that just teammates, as she hardly ever goes anywhere without her partner and becomes jealous whenever James fawns over other girls.
