Episode #117> |
Ash,
Misty and Brock awaken on a beach to find that Pikachu and three of Ash's
Pokeballs are missing! Pikachu finds Ash's missing Pokeballs and releases
Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander. The four Pokemon begin to search for
their human partners. Meanwhile, Jessie and James awaken (thanks to a pesky
Krabby), and discover that their Pokemon is missing too. They find a phone
booth, but they have no change to call for help. Meanwhile, Ash's Pokemon
run into Meowth, Ekans and Koffing. Meowth tries to get Koffing and Ekans
to capture Pikachu, but they refuse, saying that they only obey Jessie
and James, and there are no such things as bad Pokemon. Pokemon only do
bad things because their masters are bad. Later, with Meowth tied up, they
all sit around a campfire eating dinner, when a giant Rhydon appears. Untieing
Meowth, they all run away. Meanwhile, Ash, Misty, and Brock escape a flying
Zapdos, while Team Rocket has a run in with a Moltres. The next morning,
all three groups begin once again to look for eachother, running into more
giant Pokemon with bad tempers. Jessie and James try to call their boss
collect, only to have him hang up on them. After being chased by a giant
Pikachu and Kabutops, they end up in a runaway minecart along with Ash,
Misty and Brock. As they race down the track, they find their missing Pokemon,
who jump into the cart with them. They eventually derail and splash down
in the lake, and find out that the entire island is actually a huge amusement
park, and the giant Pokemon were all mechanical. Unfortunatly, during the
minecart ride, they managed to destroy most of the park, which happened
to be owned by the Team Rocket boss, Giovanni.
Quotable Quotes "Maybe they got eaten by wild Pokemon!" ~ Squirtle, as the Pokemon search for their trainers. "It's just Meowth." ~Pikachu, as Meowth attempts to scare Pikachu and the others. Them's The Brakes Ash: "Stop this cart right now!" Jessie: "We can't do that." James: "The brake's broken!" Ash: "Gimme a break..." Did You Notice?... Among the giant Pokemon are Rhydon, Moltres, Zapdos, Pikachu, Charizard, Venusaur, Kabutops and Blastoise. Clefairy and Wigglytuff are carved on the walls of the tourboat. All of Misty's water Pokemon are out as they are sucked into the tornado at the end of the previous episode, but they appear to be back inside their Pokeballs at the beginning of this one. Noteworthy The first time we get a hint that Meowth actually belongs to someone other than Jessie and James. Who's That Pokemon?: Slowbro! |
